Your host at Tomlynn Acres is Mary-Beth LeBlanc, a former teacher with a background in special education. Mary-Beth has a great love for horses and she also specializes in creating a healing experience for persons with trauma or disabilities.

Mary Beth is certified with Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) Canada as an Equine Assisted Personal Development (EAPD) coach. Equine-assisted therapy is a growing field of therapy by which individuals can work with horses. They can do so as riders to improve gross and fine motor skills as well as increasing core strength. Alternatively, patrons can work with the horses from the ground in order to improve social interaction skills, promote positive sensory stimulation as well as create bonding between human and horse, which many describe as a positive and restorative experience.
